On the topic of kit, the Movistar tops kit looked really great.

But what are the shirts made from ? What material is it?

Such a heroic finish for him after his crash.

Many thanks to Gen and the Gang of knowledgeable people for keeping me informed as to the happenings during the Tour.

Without this input I would have been at a loss,

Many thanks

Congrats to Thomas, but this was by far the least interesting TdF for me in a long time.

This can obviously be attributed to the Skybots' dominance.

Sunweb's budget is estimated to be below half of that of Sky's.

This places TummyD's performance into perspective.

The same for Movistar. Also estimated than less than half, slightly more than Sunweb's budget.

The results are clear with 6 out of 7 victories in the biggest race.

Ironically, the Skybots attract more prize money and also more sponsorship resources as they continue to dominate.

It remains a conundrum for road cycling with specific reference to the Grand Tours.

The Steppers are by far the most successful team overall wrt total victories.

Anything as long as it’s not white

Really, white shorts are nearly as bad as long white socks that go up to the shin bone

Really entertaining to watch! Followed every stage, even if I couldn't watch it on TV.

Can't believe the TDF is over, it flew by.

Really sad for DDD, nothing worked out for them. Stark contrast with 2016 where they took 5 stages. Let's hope they can bounce back at the Vuelta and in 2019.

We are planning a trip to the TDF in 2021 for our 10 year anniversary, can't wait!

This.

not even a single top3.

Serge was up there in KOM for a bit, and they did try get in a few breakaways.

The leadout was supreme on many occasions, just didn't have the hammer blow. Reinie towed EBH a long way in that final 3km on the final stage 2.

reckon EF/cannondale going in with Uran as their big card also came away with a similar level of meh from this race.
