Ja that'd be a good call from ASO if they were to do so.

If I remember correctly they didn't even bother to save Demare last year when he missed the cut, so struggling to see that they would make an exception now... Time will tell

Yes as they lift those heavily muscled arms. It’s quite a sight.

The other day one of the commentators was saying he wondered what Froome had up his sleeve. I was thinking he has nothing up his sleeve at all not even an arm it looks like

Agreed! I reckon Sky run their riders closer to the limits than most other teams. Good bunch of doctors in that squad.

I'm amazed that people who look so close to death can fly up mountains like that! Remember Rasmussen?

We can only hope. Seems unlikely though.

Didn't Cav climb off already?

I think that is a very strong possibility

Yeah we will have to have a look on CN/CW/Cycling Tips to see what ASO did or didn't do.

So, clearly the main contenders knew that Valverde was no threat, which is why they let him go on his merry way.

Now that Sky has GT in yellow, I believe they will just cover the attacks tomorrow on AdH. Looking at how the rest reacted today, I doubt very much they will try to attack if Sky keeps the pace high on the climb, as they usually do.

Oh, about the only blokes that are guaranteed to attack will be Dan Martin and Romain Bardet. You can always count on Dan.

If it really is just those 4 then the time limit wasn't unreasonable..

Groenewegen who is carrying an injured knee made it..

I think Cav just looked for a legal reason to quit. His career is done.

History buffs, when last did a team finish first and second at the tour?

Didn't wiggo and Froome finish 1 and 2
