Nibs has gone to hospital to check a suspected cracked vertebrae! He may not start tomorrow....

Daaaaaamn.

That’s just so unfair. And carried on up the road, finished the stage, showed no pain back on the bike.

I can’t stop watching but today left a bad taste in my mouth. The Giro never leaves me feeling like this. S

It is because the TDF have spectators, the cycling fans are at the Vuelta and Giro and are much better not all these hordes of a-holes on summer holiday invading the area.[emoji35]

They should scrap sprinters results who can't make it to Paris imo. Groenewegen, gaviria and grepel quit today after cav and kittel missed the cut off yesterday. Sagan should go for a stage win popping a wheelie now...

And if a sprinter is injured? Still scrap his results? If he gets sick? Knocked off the bike by a moto? Each day is a race. It’s always been like that. I have no problem with it

And now.

Aye

There is nothing normal about riding through flare smoke with zero viz for riders or motos

Each day is a bike race. A career win is a career win.

Going the distance to Paris means Green, but each day is it's own race.

The 3 week race is the end goal, but some of the teams or individuals go just to compete for a single stage win. A win is a win.

It makes it way sweeter for those who make it to Paris to compete. If that means it's a bunch of Classic specialists banging out the sprint then that's rad too
