I paid (and I fecking hate Strava) for a Premium membership for myself as the live segments on my road bike I found helped my climbing (I'm a crap climber).

But I'm about to spend the money for my assistant as I know he'd love it too.

I'm not saying it's value for money, but those live segments are cool on the climbs to challenge yourself.

found the live segments extremely motivating as well. I do enjoy the Fitness, Fatigue, Form. I pay attention to it. Other than that, it is pricey and contemplating the renewal.

Because they don't sell enough premium memberships. The incentive to go premium is not enough to warrant huge numbers, and Premium is only revenue stream.

Presumably with their member base, they have opportunity for revenue through advertising and promotions. Goal has to be to convert free to paying members or to sell advertising. By the move towards becoming more like a social media platform, I suspect that it is the latter.

On a side note, my annual premium membership is about £40, if I remember correctly. My dinner last night in a hotel was £45, so I personally see a lot of value in the premium product at that price.

Undoubtedly great value in Premium

And the social networking value - ridiculous

What an app

I enjoy Premium.

I find they're trying to be like everyone else now. Just a matter of time then we have that awful Snapchat function.

Yip also went Premium not too long ago and at 40€ or so per year I also thought it not to be too bad.  I also wanted to play with the live Strava segments which does spice up commutes a bit especially if you ride alone alot.

If your earn ZAR and want to eat in Europe it is expensive. But for our locals it is normal price.  Actually 40 pounds is not too bad.  For how many people would that be Wahoofish?

That was just me boss. Ribeye, chips, glass of beer, lime and soda, chocolate something for dessert and a wee coffee.

Wouldn’t normally go for the dessert or beer, but I’ve been travelling a lot and felt like a treat. If I’m going to be Norman-No-Mates eating alone in a restaurant, i may as well eat well.

Would normally pay £30-£50 per person in a restaurant (not a Nando’s or something, a proper restaurant).

F@rk that is expensive.  Normal restaurants in my area work out for a meal with desert and beer in the area of 20€ per head.  Normally we skip on dessert.  Too much food.  For a family of for we normally end up paying in the area of 60-70 €.

To be fair, with family, I would normally be looking at about £15 - £20 per head as well. Just my wife and I (a couple of times a year), we would go to a more upmarket restaurant. When I travel for work, I will either be eating with colleagues or alone, and would tend to alternate between nice restaurants and a burger, depending on the mood.

Where did you get it?

They normally mail a link but I haven't seen anything as yet (I've obviously checked my mail before typing this ;) [emoji14] )

All I found was the US year in review
