hi, how is everyone doing.  Almost month end, pushing hard for some results.  Good luck all.

I had a rotator cuff operation 3 weeks ago. So no training but a lot of stuffing the pie hole.... i have other health issues as well, fibrillation with more pills and stuff. So far 2018 is not my year!! Three more weeks of wearing this sling, then i will be at least be able to do some training..........

Had a very bad weekend. Had a limitation on food choices that I could make on the grill outside. (No electricity for a large part of the weekend) And the wet weather had all the cycling places closed up due to flooding.

Side note...

I need to get my indoor station fixed and running soon.

Hope that this long weekend will be a little better.

From my side, I'm back down to 87 some change. Been lazy with exercise as I'm limited to what exercises I can do, and I find Tae Bo gets boring after a while. Going to Google some stomach and chest exercises as there's still a bit of tummy to lose, and I've still got some man boobs to get rid of. I am however tempted to get an indoor trainer.

Edit: I had my first proper cheat meal yesterday, a chicken burger and chips for lunch.

you doing really well dude!!

94.7 at the moment. Only down 2.7 in March. Slow but steady. With some serious dedication and focus I might be below 94 come the next official weigh in on 1April. Then there is 8 more to go. Lost 12.9 since 1 January!

Thanks! January was fast. 8 kg in January alone. Since then much slower but steady. I am not starving myself, just eating healthy food. No bread, pasta, potatoes and so on. Meat, fish, dairy, poultry, fruit and vegetables.

for the heavy guys 100 kg +...anyone had before and after blood tests done...to see the affect of the eating plan you follow?

how many of 100 + kg fellas have dropped below 100 kg in the past 2-3 years and still below 100 kg?

post-30678-0-86095900-1522136222_thumb.jpgI'm right back where I started March, and surprisingly happy with that.

It will be a bit of a problem this weekend as I'm going away for a friend's birthday, and know there will be too much wine and food. At least the majority of people going are cyclists and there will be some nice trails, so the mountain bike is coming with.

I am down from 116kgs to 108kgs which is pretty much where I was this time last year when I last had any tests done. Want to try get closer to 100 before I go get tests done but in my experience on blood pressure, the more of me there is, the worse the scores. I have a family history of heart related issues so there is an element of choosing to live in my case.

I know I mentioned dry white wine as an alternative earlier on in this thread. I only bought a bottle of dry white today after work. After a few glasses, it reminded me of the days when I used to get dronk on Paarl Perle and Autumn Harvest with my mates. It's not a bad wine, but I don't see myself buying a bottle of it too often.

I don't think that it is a good wine either though...

Ey, R36 a bottle so I couldn't complain too much. I thought I would try it out but I think I'll stick to Castle Lite at a push if I need some doppies. Been having a few glasses of red with the Mrs, but I have to watch that as my wife either drinks Rosé or Four Cousins natural sweet. I bought her a 3 litre box wine yesterday, not knowing if it was dry or sweet, turned out it was a dry red - the less sugar the better, haha.
