agreed on all points, here. The KOM are a lightweight rim, best used for light xc or if you're REALLY looking to save 30g per rim.

Alternatives:

WTB Asym i29

Flow 3

im a lightweight @ 65kgs so i think i can get away with the lighter rims...

i had Flow's before but have heard rumors of the new Flows cracking in middle ...any comment on that ??

I had to make this same decision last week and went with the Spank 345's. The alternative for me was the Flow Mk3 but they are a bit too "common" for my liking (I guess that means they are good though!).

I just bought my second pair of WTB Assym i35 rims - due to selling my i29 pair with my bike. Took one helluva beating and only had one ding (my bad for running on a semi flat through a rock garden chasing a kom)

Great value, strong, good looking and fairly light.

I replaced my Arch Mk3 with Raceface Arc27 after the Arches cracked twice. I've heard the Flow Mk3's have the same problem. Drive side spoke holes have cracks both side of hole.

The RF arc27's are slightly heavier but great wheels.

Had the Arc 30's on my 27.5 and they seemed nice and did what they were supposed to but out of that list I'd have to say the Spanks. I've got the Spank 28 hole Oozy 295's and have had them for about 3 years now and they have been brilliant. You can run the pressures low (like 1.2bar) and they don't burp. Not sure if it works but that bead bite thing Spank have seems to do the job of holding the tyres like a vice. Haven't had to true them, no dings, roll real well. I keep wanting to up grade them but they are still 100%, look pretty much like new, a Saffa own the company and their customer service is great as well. .

Will upgrade to boost at some time and will be going the new Spank oozy 350's or the Spike 350's with the vibrocore (they should be landing locally in the next 2 - 4 weeks) and have a new design to enhance radial compliance while staying laterally stiff.

Can't really go wrong with any of your choices tho. I know people who ride with al those rims and not a bad word to say.

I bought a complete custom wheelset from Chainreactioncycles with Hope Pro 4 hubs. Locally Ridewithzeal were probably the best I found if they have stock.

hmmm but thats a 27mm EXTERNAL so not what i want

They make up to 40 mm.  The enduro ones are tough as well.  I have built plenty of their rims. Not the cheapest (Chinese) but good quality and service.
