You'll be good as long as you don't physically jump onto the back of the last rider. That would definetely be a deal breaker!

Or if you are feeling really rebelious in the day. Hook onto the fastest guys wheel. When he decides to swing his dick and ride you off, stick on his wheel, when he eventually glances over his shoulder to survey the damage that he has done, softely say to him " You will have to go harder than that"

I find, for most part, when a faster group passes me, somebody always offers for me to join anyway.

 

Having said that, Arnold Schwazeneger once said. You should be looking at ways to make your work out more difficult, not easier.

I do, on occasion, try and sit with a passing group but 50m off the back. All the pain but no pull! But I am Scottish so we're good at making life difficult for ourselves.....
