Looking for an old Praxis bb30 bottom bracket. Doesn't need to be in working condition, I actually just need the shim from the 28mm non-drive side. 

Bought a Praxis crankset but need the shim to be able to use the cranks 😖

Have tried a number of CT bike shops unfortunately to no avail.

Happy to pay.

Do you have a kiekie of the shim? I literally removed a praxis BB from a frame today. Can't recall any shims though but maybe I have something lying around

Thanks Robert, no pics unfortunately. I've never actually seen one just trying to source based on the instructions from my mechanic.

The shim isn't actually loose. It's press fitted to the non-drive side of the Praxis bb. This comment from another forum describes it better:

"the Praxis bottom bracket is Bb30 bearing both sides, but the 28mm side has a shim pressed into the bearing. I used a hammer and a socket head to drive the shim out .."

All this effort to change the cranks on a Giant Escape commuter that's running 3x to a 2x gravel crank for my GF..

Ok, so let me check in the morning and confirm but I took the two bearings off the Giant frame this morning and they must have the shim you're looking for 👍

Awesome, glad you got sorted mine also has the magic shim, just the wrong size
