The name rang a bell, and then looking at the photo reminded me of selling some timber to someone who looks a lot like him and then not getting paid.I doubt that you are going to see your wheels or the cash !!

He unblocked me to "let me reply" for a while, then he told me that he will send the wheels back "minus the amount he spent on transport and truing of the wheels". This was the amount he agreed on paying even if he did not take the wheels. I of course have evidence of him saying this too.I asked him what exactly he means by "minus" that amount but he of course ditched even that question. I think he means that i must pay him that amount before he sends the wheels, but at this stage i think he'll take cash and the wheels.This is where it gets interesting. He asks for my address, then he blocks me 2 seconds after haha. Ill send whatsapp screenshots, hopefully theyre in order.

The guy I bought them from insisted that they were 100% straight and had recently been trued by a bike shop. This story sounds the same.
bikebloke Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 get hold of legal aid - lay a civil court claim - he will be served(or hide doesnt matter )- if he doesnt turn up ( they never do) court default finds in favour of your claim - (claim 4k or so- replacement costs etc )- court hands off to "the sheriff" - at some point they will find him and take his car or whatever - you probably wont ever see money - but its a lekker way to F&%k up a skelm - this one needs it ..

I am sure somebody has jumped to conclusions and panicked here, it’s just my opinion because I have dealt with the gent on numerous occasions in the past.

Did you get told many stories before your dealings? As you seem to know this guy well, maybe you can get him to come here and give his side of the story as you are defending him.

I would even go as far as saying most wheels you rid are technically 'untrue'Â Now id rims were cracked that would be a different story.
