Dragson Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I have been told that you can screw the 16g threaded bom in where your V-Brakes are secured to your frame. That is if you are using disc brakes. I have had a look but it looks like the co2 thread is to big to fit. Has someone don it before?

kingjreid Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 i did it... it fits perfectly. try the ravx co-2 bombs and despencers, i think they're bigger.... it works and looks cool, but i ended up loosing them cause they ratteled loose

Dragson Posted June 11, 2008 Author Posted June 11, 2008 I dont have V-brake mounts on my frame only on my fork so my exhausts will be pointing the wrong why . Don't think I want to drill the hole bigger so I will keep them in my back pocket.

It could cause some serious problems if it went off behind your back.

The bombs keep on rattling loose. Lost a few bombs and threw the little holders away eventually. Now I pul a road tube over the bombs and keep them in the saddlebag.
PhilipV Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I just tape the bombs to my frame or seatpost with insulation tape. The tube as well. No rattling saddlebag,and its hard to forget something taped to the bike.

Yes, use that method of storing them quite often but just be careful on rocky terrain as they can rattle loose.
