Noooooooooooooo not Verrati, no discipline !

Oh I forgot about Moise Kean

[emoji1787][emoji1787]yes he likes a bit of a party.. but what a player..oh man every time I watch him play my jaw drops.. and since Mancini took over the Azzurri he has been even better for Italy than for PSG.. that partnership with Jorginho oh man [emoji847]

Besides for Kean, who is really really good, I am interested to see how Nicolussi and Gozzi develop...I think they will each still spend at least 1 year at the u23 and the little I have seen of them (those few moments thay had a bit of game time for the senior team) I see a lot of promise esp Nicolussi..so lets hope they go from strength to strength .

I see they called up quite a few u23 to training with the senior team, I suspect some of them will also travel to Asia.

- “Why Juventus?”

De Ligt: “Since a kid I have been fascinated by the way Italians defend. Many examples are Italians for me: Maldini, Baresi, Nesta, Cannavaro, Scirea, and I can go on and on. I fell in love with the way they defend in Italy.” https://t.co/65Ca7zRqR9

Our updated squad list.

Suppose there may be a few exits or another 1 signing is made.. don't think more will happen until after the asian tour..if at all and pretty sure Sarri would like some time with the squad first. But I really don't think there is a need.

Zlatan: “I didn’t work all my career to come to the MLS just to be compared to Carlos Vela. The media made a huge mistake. You don’t compare Ferrari’s with Fiats. Tonight I showed I’m the best player in the league.”

My lil rant. So, I been a member of saints club for a while. It’s usually around 25 quid a year but this year it was 45. Quite a jump. I got early bird for 35. Still a big jump. As a member in previous years one was given a discount when buying tickets to category B an C games. This year they advertised that discounts would apply for cat A,B an C games. Happy days.

So I try book for Liverpool game (which was always a cat A game) an lo an behold when I check out no discount applied.( 5 quid a ticket) so I nail the club.

No sir, Liverpool, United, city an arsenal are cat A* games thus no discount.

Taking the piss. Seriously.

That is a very big jump any specific reason for it? Edited by Gen

Well, I think it’s disguised under the you now get a fiver off all games, cept the new 4 Cat A* games. Previous years only 6 of the games were considered cat A games. Now it’s 4.

It’s a fleece.

But, I will still go to games....it’s how it is.

Grrrrr

Gen, how you like that Harry Kane winner... even more sweet that it’s over big mouth Szczesny formerly of the gooners

Sounds like it was a really good game.

Ja.. nice one hey.

Yep sounds like the teams put on a good show.

I don't tend to take pre season seriously..more about expanding the brand of the teams and getting some game time..but all good if they entertain the crowds. A chance to get the group together, esp for Sarri implementing a new philosophy with new players and the youngsters always get to go on tour which is great.. we still have players on holiday after the copa and a few getting ready for the season after injuries ..[emoji25]

Tale of the Tape

Szczesny:

FA Cup: 2013–14, 2014–15

FA Community Shield: 2014

Serie A: 2017–18, 2018–19

Coppa Italia: 2017–18

Supercoppa Italiana: 2018

Harry Kane:

History doesn’t mean anything when the original statement was purely based yesterday’s match. And all those “achievements were team efforts so it doesn’t help attributing to individuals.

Seems it never does when it comes to Spurs.........If only talking up was a trophy!

You still miss the point - it was regarding the match yesterday. Why is it that you wish to seek to justify your contribution with data that is unrelated. Comment on what’s relevant or don’t....

In any case, isn’t it the same when the Arsenal were consistently finishing in the top four, and Spurs were the mugs struggling to break into the “elite” group? Too bad they are not achieving the same standards, and relying on history to explain their current status. Get over it!
