Must be the Liverpool fans fault.... 🤣 🤣🤣

It's actually Liverpool first teams fault., coz Spurs didn't know its still possible to get something from the game even when down to 9 players on the pitch 😂😂😂

Actually, Spurs were very close to making it 2-2 just after Chelsea scored their second goal....

Not the prettiest of games, but watch it if you get a chance....

At least 5 goals disallowed by VAR!!!

More VAR checks than any other game this season!!

Total of about 25 minutes of additional time played.... Phew!!!

No teams left with unbeaten record. The final result probably flatters Chelsea They looked like a team that is struggling, until the 2 goals at the very end.

Anyway, good result for Chelsea, ManC, Arsenal and Liverpool, and questions being asked of Spurs

And, have a listen to Ange Postecoglou's comme ts after the game... complete opposite to what we heard from Klopp and Arteta after their teams lost. I don't think circumstances were any different.

lol.

Why would Ange have anything to complain about? All the decisions were correct. Udogie shouldve been off in the first half for a 2 footed lunge also. I want to see how graceful in defeat he is when decisions go against him.

Secondly, you realise he got booked as well? So much for respect to referees.

2 things....

Re: the Udogie challenge, I agree. But we have seen these mistakes. Recently James should also have seen red to be fair....

Secondly, I haven't been able to find an explanation yet as to the reason for Ange's yellow card. So spare us and do  tell. I will guarantee you it's not as ferocious as the reasons Jurgen Klopp has been copping yellow cards. I repeat: Listen to Ange's post match response to officiating of the game, and then tell me about respect for referees.

But this is not about questioning decisions in the game... what I was actually commenting on is about how Chelsea struggled to break down 9-man Spurs and how 9-man Spurs were brave enough to continue to take the game to Chelsea.

He got a yellow card for dissent because of a refereeing decision he didn’t agree with. So he’s preaching about respect but he didn’t show respect to the referee.

Anyways, these comments will come back to haunt him when decisions don’t go his way. Yesterday, all the decisions were correct, if anything spurs got lucky as Udogie should have been off earlier and Romero kicked out before the penalty incident. So Ange had nothing to moan about. Let’s see how he handles himself when the opposite happens.

Oh come on.... every manager in football argues or disagrees with decisions against their team. Its how that reaction is portrayed that differs. Surely you are not saying that Postecoglou reacted in the same way towards the officials as Mikel Arteta or Jurgen Klopp do.... no ways was it even close!

Ange has been at a semi top club for what 11 games now? He’s never felt the pressure Klopp and now Arteta have felt before. Again, I will repeat. Let’s wait till decisions go against him and then we can talk respect. When the pressure is on, that’s when emotions run high. Spurs are still new to this and they’re definitely expected to win the league like a Liverpool or Arsenal. So you cannot compare the situations. If he keeps Spurs at the top challenging, that pressure will mount and then we’ll see how he handles it.

Btw, Van De Ven and Maddison injured. Will be interesting to see how Spurs react now. Romero suspended as well.

Lol... I like your descriptions regarding top clubs...

I hear you about pressure, but that shouldn't detract from the yellow card he received. And yeah, the test of playing or responding under pressure is certainly tell on the whole club.

These injuries were bound to come at some point in the season, except they seem to all have come at once.

However, I believe there is still sufficient depth and quality in the squad. I always have.

In defense, Dier came on for his first game and was immense, even scored although disallowed. Hojberg can fill the CB position as long as they continue to play the high line. Emerson Royal came in and covered the left fullback spot, and not for the first time. Gio Lo Celso can more than cover Maddison's spot and this may just be the time he shows how good he is in a Spurs shirt.

Every replacement player is a member of their national team, except Dier. Maybe Eric Dier can do Harry Maguire lol

Anybody notice how brilliant Vicario was in goal for Spurs... That was a sterling display worthy of MOTM from a keeper who let in 4 goals mind you.

He probably saved Spurs from shipping 7 or 8 in this game. Although it must be said, Sanchez also had a great game for Chelsea.

An incredibly entertaining match I thought. We had it all.

should have bet on Chelsea but alas.

VAR is just not working as it should. That said, I have no idea how to improve it. But they have to. VAR taking nigh on 5 minutes to get a decision is no good.

spurs keeper was brave. Aye. Good performance.

It's absolutely incredible to see how the Spurs fans are praising the performance of the squad, even after what is a heavy defeat. This was always going to be a game of attrition, and the boys stood up to the challenge for the entire 90 minutes.

Great performance! COYS

VAR is spoiling the game as we know it. Referees need to be given back the authority they had pre-VAR. The problem is that broadcasters have the tech to slow-motion incidents and then question decision-making. Maybe we will see in future decisions being made by a panel of studio analysts and relayed to the referee... who knows...

Maybe AI could play a role. And it would be instant.
