Exactly! Would be interesting to see what skill set makes ebike world champs different. I am assuming there is more speed up hill, therefore skill and line choice up hill will be more important than pure watts.

 

There is also the battery use dynamic as well.

Waych the video in a post from another thread. The guy explains where the e-bike has an advantage vs the Elite rider on his own bike.

eBikes racing each other is all good. Not sure what the hassle is.

 

But what now happens of a guy on a MX bikes comes and joins them? Will they be ok with it and if they are not, will we call them MX bike haters?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, every sport needs an open class, similar to what Pikes Peak has, where there are no rules or restrictions.

 

Unlimited power / battery Ebikes,

No Doping limitations.

GO!

 

Essentially Carmageddon but with skinny okes on a mountain.

Hmmm... The end result could be a 'Red Bull Romaniacs' on a bike park track. Surely would be a blast to watch!
