In their own category, I believe they do.

So you like they must have an e-activity care?

Be members of TokaiEMTB...?

Or if you mean for races then yes that much is obvious. But e-bikes don’t kill people,... people do

In races, and it's not so clear as per feedback on many races.

I'm fairly sure nobody thinks it was easier. What I am battling to understand is the why.

Ok you can use an ebike. But only up to 25kph and only 250w assistance...when you pedal.

It all seems a bit random and contrived.

There's some contestation and politics between the cycling and motocross authorities about 'which sport does e-bikes belong to'

I think this was an action-oriented strategy by the UCI to claim the category or code.

250w/25k max ... how is that controlled? Something like motor racing events, scrutineering ... not that anyone would want to cheat I mean that's not human nature is it [emoji12]

Now they will need dyno's at the races.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, every sport needs an open class, similar to what Pikes Peak has, where there are no rules or restrictions.

Unlimited power / battery Ebikes,

No Doping limitations.

GO!

Essentially Carmageddon but with skinny okes on a mountain.

Bunch of whiney lot you are. Interested to know what percentage have actually ridden an ebike? Like @nick said earlier... If a opportunity for a competition exists... Why not? They all doing the same thing it's not like someone is cheating by using an ebike
