So I've seen that all National Teams this year have been wearing the national kit made by Anatomic(now for sale in the classifieds).

At Worlds I was surprised to see the SA riders wearing kit made by Bioracer as I thought Anatomic had the contract?

In saying that, If I was having to buy my own kit, I would like to choose between the 2, and well, there will be only 1 winner.

It isn't a bad article..but it would be great if they actually started writing articles about the race itself.

I have not yet read an in-depth article in English about the race itself. ..which is a pity because that damn tough race deserves one.

That’s unfortunately what happens when previously sanctioned riders are allowed to ride and win. It unfairly detracts from the others factors and riders.

They just aren't consistant though..

I have no issues with people having opinions..we've had this discussion that people like some riders more than others, it is nature and we look past some riders indiscretions but not so much other rders...and that is fine because that is the nature of life...but a journalist should do better.

And are doping transgressions not as bad now than then because it isn't blood doping or EPO, is legally doping by abusing the TUE system okay because there isnt a rule that says you shouldn't any different to using EPO 20 years ago because there wasn't a test for it back then, or riders missing tests at critical times okay because it was only their first or second miss for the year so that is cool.. or hell even getting away with missing 3.

It really is okay for fans to see things like that because we naturally we have favourites etc and I have really no issue with that at all.. but I have a problem with journalist adopting that approach... in my opinion it is no different the the fox vs CNN "reporting" on political issues...

Anyhow that is just my opinion. And I will no longer rant about that..because...The race just deserved better.

I completely agree

I said it earlier, as South Africans we all support Daryl Impey yet he was also caught doping and fully denied it.

Why is it OK to love Alberto? Some of the guys hating on AVV hail the great el pistalero....

In todays age we are constantly being exposed to negativity. Very seldom these days do you see an article or opinion piece on how dam awesome something/someone was/is.

It's usually a 'that was cool BUT' or an outright 'that was a disgrace'. It filters through all of us and has created a really whiney, complainy, negative culture where if you don't disagree you aren't really allowed an opinion.

I'm happy for Valverde. I think he has been really entertaining to watch for many many many years.

If it comes out that he doped I won't be surprised, but then I am of the opinion that pretty much everyone in the pro peleton has doped at some point of their career so kind of expect them to get systematically wrapped on the knuckles. It adds to the soap opera and make no mistake, pro sport is entertainment.

I'm happy for Valverde. Clearly he is a good cyclist, is spectacular to watch & have a personality that is liked/accepted in the peleton.

But is is not as if I would ever do effort to support/meet/see him if he was in my vicinity.

If he did not dope before, then then fan clubs and support would have been out of this world. In that sense, he shot himself in the arm foot many years ago.

Really thought Woods were gonna drop them all like cupcakes here

If i'm grown up one day, then it would be nice to have the bottom grips of my bib pull gaps between muscle definitions like Woods
