Suspension stem

Hi All

Anybody tried this stem or have any knowledge with regard to the use of this item?

R2000 from Gravel and Tour and  it is a bit pricey.

Worth it?

Not sure that's a good idea. With front suspension your position on the bike stays the same while the bike moves with this you are going to be rocking up and down.

Do a bit of a search on BikeRadar's YouTube channel - they have reviewed them. Actually looks like they work quite well.

Reviews are all very positive. It's a steal compared to a Lauf fork

The reviews are all great for what I intend using it for.

Just taking a stab to find out if anybody has actually used one?

I don't want to knock it before I have tried it.

What is there not to like?

 

The bouncing effect seems to be eliminated using the different elastomers available.

Lauf would be the answer and then would have the huge outlay of the fork and then having to rebuild all my wheels to TA.

 

I reckon I might just give this a try - goodbye sinkplate?

I like it. Will give it a try. Giving the revgrips a try first tho. If that works my gravel bike can get a nice new stem.

I tried the old Girvin Flex stem and basically it was death waiting to happen.

 

For gravel use maaaaybe but on mtb it was scary AF!

I did some 'netting and the reviews look pretty good! Most seem to be mid packers not weight weenie race snakes and the feedback is quite good.
