Knersboy Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 So my last of 4 nights at Menkele, what a place! Rode blue (with the laaitie), orange (a few times), red and purple with some of the black sections thrown in. Stayed with the family in the log cabins, very nice and the price is good. Kids loved it, my 7 year old kapped 50km in 2 days moering around the adventure track, camp roads and blue trail, hardly saw him. That lower bush tunnel section is fabulous. I can highly recommend the place. Signage is good if you know where to start and understand the logic, arrow with no color means all routes turn, if the arrow has specific color stickers on then only for those routes. Great place to upskill yourself. The wildlife is abundant on the trails, saw numerous small bokkies, birds of prey etc. I never encountered another rider while on the trails and fortunately no snakes. I will be back, for sure.
