Does the race get streamed ? or can one only use the tracker app for coverage ? 

 

I would think they would stream it like they have all the other IM races the past few months - on Facebook it's Ironman Now

Let it be known that I came here hoping to see A Kona bicycle and was left very disappointed

I have not been following Sanders but did some checking and I am quite surprised that he is self coached. He seems to mess around a lot with diet, setup and the whole lone wolf thing which I think is hindering him. He is so talented just think what he would do with a coach like Brett Sutton.

We were actually discussing it a couple of weeks ago, the consensus was that it seems to work for him, and that training with a coach may actually hinder his performance.  Ie, his running style, a coach may try to change it, but it somehow works for him, even though it's the most uncomfortable looking gait.  He has a very unique story overall, and I think he prefers marching to the beat of his own drum.

 

His nutrition plan is absolutely nuts, but he filmed himself doing a practice run and he seemed to handle everything okay.  So will see what race day brings.

Just glad he (LS) has gone back to the medium frame and off that horrible small frame.

For the men it is going to come down to the run - if Lange is strong and finds his rhythm no one can beat him on the run. If not... no one can suffer like Sanders, and he will take it.

For the women I might be naive, but Ryf by a long shot, breaking Charles again on the run.
