just an opinion and i have no clue about the spec of the frame (i have meanwhile educated myself- see below)...but from the pics it looks like the headset can be flipped in either or direction to adjust reach?

if so....i'd flip it around and make the bike longer :whistling: ...it will be more-betterer and wont look so odd either...also...if you are aiming to get the bars at seat hight that means you might get away with one less spacer under the stem as well if it is the longer guise.

just an opinion

nice bike though

edit:see pic...red vs green line. looks like you have it set in position red at the moment.

Thanks Morne. I have it set up according to the recommendations from GG for my riding style. On the site you’ll find this at size configurator. I’ll play around and see what fit I like best. Same story with the hight of the bars.

I'm guessing he doesn't want the 'above the stem' spacers.

There are some who would suggest that having anything more than a 5mm spacer above the stem is a bigger cycling No No than wearing secret socks AND using a camelback while having a saddle bag at a road race............

Why are you shaming me?

So been just over or under a month now. Loving this bike so much. I’ve done some longish rides and I feel really comfortable. Riding stairs and drops is really fun, Kuwait has not got any other real gravity on offer, there is Mutla ridge but it is a mission to get to for me so I have not really put the bike through it’s paces. But my skills have improved quite quickly, maybe it is new bike stoke or something but I can finally bunnyhop properly and I’m damn close to staying in a manual for a bit.

The steering is snappy and on point and the bike just runs so quietly, I wish my hubs were silent.

I would buy the same bike again and again.

Going to do these rides, sure it is not what it is meant for but I’m sure I will be fine.

Now you know what I have been on about. Cant wait until you hit a proper trail man. Maybe do a weekend trip to Turkey if you really have an urge. I think its nearest to you.

That looks like a plan. Our school has closed for two weeks so we are coming home for a bit. Will phone the airline and see if I can take my bike.

Edit: The bike is not coming :(

Besides the normal time to wait for making the frame, how long does it take to ship to SA and what was your experience? I am really keen to ship a frame over.

If you already discussed this earlier in the thread, sorry my bad...
