BA have 2 flights arriving here. The first one is scheduled to land at 07H15 and the second one 10H15.

So the runways coming in over Boksburg and taking off over Kempton are 03L and 03R. If they do the opposite, the runways are 21L and 21R.

They are numbered according to the degrees, So 03 is 30deg(so pretty much facing North) and 21 is obviously 180deg as it is the same runway so 210deg(pretty much facing South). You just drop the zero at the end.

03L/21R is the runway closest to the terminal and is longer so the preferred runway for takeoff and 03R/21L is the shorter runway on the denel side and the preferred landing runway.

Many years ago when the terminal was a lot smaller and the airport was not as busy there was the cross runway 09 but it is no longer in use and gets used for parking aircraft.

The 7:15 one is normally a little early then. It usually lands as I'm leaving my daughters school, so around 7:05 ish. When its closer to being ontime it comes straight over my head as I pass the runway.

Most of the international flights tend to come in a bit earlier even if they departed late.  Over a 10-12 hour flight they can make up the time fairly easily unless the weather makes it a bit more difficult for them to catch up.  In the early days of Flightradar they did not have the level of coverage over Africa like they have today.  So if my wife was on her trips to Europe I would track the flights when they take off in Europe and by the time we would loose track of them over north Africa you would already see on the ETA on wether they would be on time or not.  The challange was that we were 45 minutes drive from ORT.  So by the time when they popup of Flightradar in Souther Africa over Botswana and Limpopo you pretty much had 30 minutes before they land.

30 minutes to land, but you still have time to spare as they need to disembark, get luggage, clear passport control and customers etc.

When my folks fly back from europe I only start leaving the office after they have landed, and then still stand around a wait at arrivals for them

I used to try and be in the neighbourhood just North of the airport (that is if they would land from the north) and park there with the car and take pictures of the aircraft as they land.   The kids also used to like it to see mommy fly over them.  Then I would hang around for a few more aircraft to land and then move to the arrivals terminal.

This pic was taken when my wife returned from London the one time.

That pic was taken April 2014.  We moved to Germany April 2015.  I flew to Cape Town once or twice in the A330 by then but can't remember exactly if it was 2014 or even 2013

Ok. So I just checked. Flip we have had those aircraft for longer than I thought. The first A330-200 arrived in Feb 2011.

WOW it looks lekker. On the Pilatus website there is a picture of a candy apple red PC24. When I win the powerball, I want one like that in that colour!!!!

Yesterdays Eurolotto was something like R600 million  Anyway, that's what that dodgy sms told me.
