Sharkcatcher01 Posted January 11, 2019 Share Stolen: Scott 940 2014When: 10 January 2019Where: Randburg, I was parked at Randridge Mall for no longer than 15 minutes. Guy cut the hooter cable so when the alarm went off it made no noise. Made his way through the car the then popped the boot and took the bike out the back. He left the through axle behind so the bike isn't in working order right now. chucked it into the back of a silver Mercedes B class, after he hit a fiesta and ranger, all within 10 minutes. Any info would be appriciated.Get further details about the incident in the Stolen Bikes section

Sharkcatcher01 Posted January 28, 2019 Share He sabotaged the car, broke into the car and then stole the bike from inside the boot?- A concerned citizen that also keeps bike inside a car Exactly what happened. Unclipped the hooter cable so when the alarm went off there was no noise. the broke the drivers side lock and helped himself to the contents of my car. the only reason i keep my bike in the car is for safety, but apparently thats not safe enough. Bomberman Posted January 28, 2019 Share YesI take it its a fortuner? What the bastards do is they cut the alarm wire off as shown in the picture, very easy and quick to do and then its just opening the doors.

I knew they were easy targets, but not that easy?!Not my best drawing but it gives you the idea, my fiend installs these plates to prevent them from reaching the wires or damaging anything inside. You can also move it somewhere they cant reach it, we also install a simple sensor between the bonnet and body. So as soon as the bonnet is forced open the sensor will activate and set of the alarm.
