Bits of helmet in the windscreen how badly was the front of the car damaged? I ask because hopefully, there was no contact there and that windscreen looks like it took a broadside. hopefully, nothing fatal if just the windscreen. Impact with the front end... uurrgh.

Geronimo Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Not nice but hopefully the windscreen took the brunt of the impact then injuries should be less severe. Strongs to the rider and speedy recovery!!
Robbie Stewart Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Moderate injury implies the patient was seriously hurt, i.e. fractures, open wounds etc., but that the patient is not critical or facing a life threatening situation. The rider would thus require ER trauma hospitalisation, possibly theater, but is fully expected to make a full recovery. It would be interesting to know what happened.
