Total farce. Next years I’ll ride an e-bike instead. Never thought I’d rate advendurance so highly but at least their race results are trustworthy

I think I will also be back, ok I did not do the long route, as I hanged back with the family doing the 28km route, so not sure how much fun I would have had on the longer route, but for us we REALLY enjoyed the day out on the route especially the water crossings.

Many riders that took place in the marathon used short cuts due to the weather.We ask that riders that did ride the complete 60km route send us a screenshot of their devices/downloads. We are now in the process to correct any queries relating to timing on Sunday 8th September 2019. 

 

If you used any timing device (eg strava) and it differs from the official time you received, please send this to us so we can update it on our system. 

 

 

So to their credit at least the organisers are trying to fix this, again, the route is a proper challenge with great views & great singletrack - if they can fix their timing system (nevermind seeding) it would be one of the premier one day events in the WC in my biased opinion.

For me what they do about the issues will determine if I go back to their event. Many event organizers say they will improve just to keep the interest but don’t do what they say they will.

I’ll provide what they ask for and an issues list and take it from there.

My only issue with the race was it started to late. Start the long distance from 7h or close to in summer. That way you are long done before the heat of the day. There was ample water points and well stocked.

O and the seeding was funny, we always ride together but I was placed in B and my brother in E but luckily they fixed it without hassle so both started in B.

I like how they selectively fixed some peoples seeding. I raised the seeding as an major concern that needs to be addressed going forward. Just got a "We'll look into it" response

Totally agreed. Thing is they were willing to change my seeding. The problem was a misalignment between the commissaires and the start line
