Sbloomer Posted July 8, 2019 Share I am currently using Muc-Off Bike Protect as a post wash treatment, and it works pretty well. But it gets pretty expensive when you have 4 bikes to do. Are there any cheaper alternatives that people use to treat their bikes post wash?
dave303e Posted July 8, 2019 Share Castrol DWF is what I used to use on the motorbikes when living in Dbn, quite a bit cheaper
anybody seen george? Posted July 8, 2019 Share I use normal car wash soap that contains polish to wash my bike. (Rally makes a nice one. Buy a jug of 5l.Then I use car polish to polish the frame (the thick kind not the thin liquid)For "treating" bolts I'll use normal furniture polish. As I only want a small protective coating to clear the water not a penetrating lube. Eddy Gordo

ChrisF Posted July 8, 2019 Share I love the NAM product series - https://spokerite.co.za/product/nam-bravo25-bike-wash-1l/ Blue for the wash Pink as a degreaser MOST IMPORTANTLY - take 60 seconds and wipe down the bike with a damp rag, using the WHITE Nam bike polish !! This protective layer prevents the muc from sticking to the frame !! The next wash is a breeze. vulgar, DieselnDust and Dirt Tracker
