947 Cycle Challenge 2019

You can still link your Strava to the PPA/racetec seeding system but you have to manually do it yourself so if you don't want to share your data you don't have to.

For people who don't have a seeding index, seeding is done based on entry date (as per the seeding FAQ on their website). I wouldn't hold out too much hope for this getting you an early start time because even the earliest unseeded entrant starts after the worst seeded entrant though.

Sorry @Ashchest was correct.

Or maybe they release the start times on the 17th and give everyone the week off  :stupid:

so going on whats mentioned here, start times should be out by tomorrow if reseeding opens tomorrow the 10th...

anything to make more money and there will be people taking this as a last minute decision.

Is that so particularly awful?  They have more capacity so can keep it open as long as possible.

What I do dislike is the constant spam and multiple "last chance" posts.  I guess it seems to work for them, entries still ticking up.

I just found out that my wife does not have a seeding, shorted races does not count and she did the 947 3 years ago, so we will be starting at lunchtime.

Not sure if it is just mine that is broken, but it still says:

Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge 2018

This is the seeding index that is used to seed you into the batches. You will receive an e-mail or sms with your batch seeding for the 2019 event

So it would seem my MalutiD90 is my best current result. Not sure if I should thank my teammates or not... good seeding = thanks, lousy seeding = not.

I guess when I’m not really racing, it doesn’t matter [emoji4]
