Schnavel Posted September 4, 2019 Share Go to Midas and buy the smallest pack size available of any dot5.1 brake fluid This! As mentioned, try buy the smallest amount possible - you need very little and the fluid doesn't keep particularly well. Mongoose!
DieselnDust Posted September 4, 2019 Share Yes use what you need and dispose of the remainder at the used oil depository at said Midas.Dot brake fluids absorb water from the atmosphere and this reduces its boiling point Mongoose!

Or are those old stock "pre-2017" Levels? Mongoose!
droo Posted September 5, 2019 Share OP - Midas won't have 5.1, you'll need to go to a motorbike shop. But as mentioned before, 5.1 is 5.1, you don't need the SRAM stuff. Quagga, Wannabe and Mongoose!

Quagga Posted September 5, 2019 Share If your caliper is the bleeding edge type you will have the one on the left and here are the tools, if you have the caliper on the left you need the tool in the middle Edited September 5, 2019 by Quagga Mongoose! and Christofison
