Here's another literary reference for you - take a flying #@#@ at a rolling doughnut, take a flying #@#$ at the moon.

Look it up and correct the spelling.

The level of detail people will go into to “just be right”.

Winning a spelling bee does not make somebody more or less prejudiced.

Actually, I think you are incorrect there.

Winning (or losing)a spelling bee could well be linked to the inclination to being prejudiced.

How so?

depends on the group being tested. Some data showed remarkable correlation.

And of course, nothing concerning Intelligence is absolute. There are always numerous exceptions.

Rumour has it Einstein was a lousy speller as an example.

One of my "African" students summed up these types of topics perfectly in a few words.

European Skin colour people in South Africa ( Probably other places to) are always seen as:

Competent until proven Incompetent

Innocent until proven Guilty

Where as darker skin colour people

Incompetent until proven Competent

Guilty until proven Innocent.

Myself have been guilty of this and have really put in an conscience effort to eradicate this in my life.

Human brain is a fascinating piece of genius and capable of subconsciously storing information that eventually influence your action without you realising it.

So what do you call white, indian and coloured people born on the african continent?
