Mtb rims

Hi there

Can any one advise me,these are my rims in my bike but I’m ether thinking to get new hubs fitted or new rims itself.im trying to get them to roll faster as on a down hill I will get over taken easily.any advice on what to Do.

U think mayb better bearings and hub?

He also has a mtb

 

I guarantee you will not notice the difference with better hubs or bearings.

 

Just make sure that the bearings that you have are doing what they should be doing.

When last did you check and possibly service them.

If your pad is touching your disk it will slow you down - you may not hear it.

 

The type of tyre you use will have the biggest affect on resistance.

Tyre pressure also has an influence.

It's aerodynamics.

Pull your helmet onto your head. It mustn't sit on the top

 

Check the fit of your helmet - looks too small unless you have a manbun if so remove.

More important than new hoops or hub - seriously.

DT 180 hubs would be a good idea to save weight and go faster. R15k plus from your local smous.And a full aero TT helmet. R20k for 1 sec per km.
