Campy rear D

I am thinking of putting a Potenza 11-32 cassette on my bike-

 

the supplier says that i need to have a " medium length" Rear Deraillier.

 

how do i know whether the current RD is a medium or a Long-

 

there is nothing on the RD to advise me.

 

any one out there able to let me know?

Medium should be 72.5mm

Hi 

 

What RD do you currently have on the bike ?  You will definitely need a medium cage to run 11/32..

 

Depending on year model of your gruppo you cannot mix Ergos pre 2015 with post 2015 RD ..

looks like my RD is a 5.5cm version and will not take a 11-32 cassette.

i have a 50-34 on the front

i mighjt have to look form a medium RD- Expensive exercise.

 

i have also been looking at the Mavic R-SYS SLR Wheelset- its very light and i am plannibg to ride in the French apls in September.

 

however i do not see a Campy option for any of the mavics that i have had a look at-

 

what comment on this ?

I have a set of Mavic R-Sys on one of my bikes .. with Campy Freebody ….so you can definitely get for Campy.

I can supply a Centaur 11sp RD which will be reasonably priced , but you will either have to live with not so great shifting or replace the body of your RHS Ergo..

Can't you get a wolftooth roadlink extender?

 

300zar and it will allow you to clear an 11-36 cassette.

 

Might be cheaper than replacing other parts...
