What about 1 black arm warmer on the left arm?

Sunday will govern the tan lines that I have to carry through winter so this might not work so well for me

I like the idea of wearing a black armband as a signal that all is not well It's like flying the flag at half mast to acknowledge a state of grief or concern which is what I feel about so many things in ZA.

As South Africans if we had to wear an arm band for every worthy cause we would look like the Michelin Man.

There are many many issues one could try take a stand against. Gov/corporate corruption etc etc but children getting murdered outside their homes on a monthly basis is just on another level.

South Africa is plagued by violent crime so much so we have the same amounts of deaths as in a war zone, just today a budy who helps with cycling crime reduction on the JHB SRPAIT trial was stabbed on his bike!.

I say we must not make jokes and become apathetic - wear these black ribbons with pride and make a statement as every statement made gives us a small bit hope. If we give up more will be killed. It takes good citizens to unite and make change. The majority are good let’s stand up and be heard. Civil uprising to majored issues make positive changes. This is a national major issue.
