Are you about this?

Last year you had to have both - the faces board was your timing chip and the other was just a number board.

I asked Steven (CSA Official) at number collection.

The yellow board is a timing board and frame number, as opposed to have the Faces timing number and a frame number like last year. In 2021 when they first issued the timing board, as a frame number, the bib number matched. The problem came up in 2022 as the timing board number and frame/bib number didn’t match, and therefore doesn’t comply with UCI regulations. This was a problem at other events that used the Faces timing board with bib numbers not matching.

The WhatsApp message is quite clear, too:

Anyone went for number collection today?  How busy is it, want to go in an hour or so?

Just came from there. 5 minutes in and out.

I was told specifically only the yellow board at collection this morning.

Why were we given two numbers? Do both need to be pinned on? Where?

Licenced riders have two numbers to be pinned on the back of the jersey.

It’s UCI regulations for licensed riders.
One for on the left pocket, one for on the right pocket.
