Gumpole Posted July 3, 2008 Share The same as okes driving without a seatbelt' date=' talking on their cellphone, exceeding the speed limit. It's his life and his choice. As others have said it aint gonna cause you any harm. Having said that, if it were a junior I would vote smack him![/quote'] people that exceed the spped limit, drive drunk, talk on cell phone, do make up while driving, drive recklessly tend to crash more often than people who dont... sometimes into innocent cyclists. pEOPLE without helmets, safety belts only put themselves at risk - their choice. TNT1 Posted July 3, 2008 Share Go and read National Road Traffic Act' date=' 1993(Act No.93 of 1996). [/quote'] It has plenty to say about wearing of helmets being compulsory on a motor cycle, but not a pedal cycle...

dirtrider Posted July 3, 2008 Share In October 2004, regulation 207(2) of the National Road Traffic Regulation became effective after being passed three years earlier. The regulation orders the compulsory wearing of a protective helmet that is properly fastened and fitted while riding a bicycle or being carried as a passenger. MintSauce Posted July 3, 2008 Share If you must react, then you might as well do it properly and run him over. Plus, that will give us plenty popcorn-discussions in the following days Rant & Rave - Topic: Hubber runs over fellow cyclist INTENTIONALLY MintSauce2008-07-03 08:10:

Jules Posted July 3, 2008 Share Did he only give you a middle finger ?If that was me I'd have shown you both.A quality bike handler would be able to show him a brown-eye too. I reckon it's ok to ask this guy where his helmet is, provided you are also prepared to ask: - Parents why they bring their kids to the pub - Obese people why they eat so much - People who speed why they're driving so fast - People why they smoke
SeanMort Posted July 3, 2008 Share I'd like anybody, be it motorist or fellow cyclist, to challenge OB on the East Rand about his no helmet wearing habit. The entertainment value alone would be worth selling tickets and lots of popcorn ! You see, some people don't really care what people think. Let them just get on with their life.
