Trailer top 3 bike Carrier ( Venter offroad Trailer)

Hi Hubbers,

 

Trying to get some info for a friend that is looking for  a 3 bike transport setup.

This is what Ive found so far.

 

Ive looked at Holdfast all in one setup, but front wheels need to come off so it is an option but not first prize .

Ive also looked at the 3 bike top runner  https://www.holdfast.co.za/products/top-runner-pro. This however may pose a challenge with mounting the entire rack to the trailer frame/ rack

 

Anyone else here that has a solution for the Venter specific trailer setup ?. Ive attached a pic.

I use your first option and yes, you need to remove the front wheel. I only transport one bike. One wheel is no problem, but two or three might become a problem.

You can put 3 thule roof rack carriers inside the basket/roof rack already on the trailer.

 

Measure to see if the Holdfast Top Runner would fit. I have two top runners on my trailer, they work well.

it has a 4 bike setup on it

 

i took it to a Thule store

 

they did their magic

 

no wheels off etc

 

a bit more expensive i know but at least when travelling i know the bikes are safe

 

Thule tends to be bulletproof most situations

Please gooi a proper lock through those Thules (any bike rack actually) as those locks mean nothing to a determined thief.

I use the Holdfast Top Runner. I'll eventually get another for the trailer and just gooi all 4 bikes on the trailer.
