Bardet, Gaudu and Quintana are certainly not expending as much work as Louis is, by sitting in a bunch. Louis though is making headway so will be interesting to see if he can hold the gap on these last two climbs.

Louis was only 47s behind the leaders at the crest of the previous climb, he lost a minute to them on the descend. He needs to catch up to some big boys to pull him down on the next descend...

Luckily his time to those behind stayed the same

Wout is looking in ominous form, going to ride away with a mountain top stage victory at this rate...

Hope he isn't needed to pull Vingegaard back to Pog in the Descent.

Top class form. Been JV's strategy of late to leave a man (or 2) upfront for Jonas

And another attack shut down immediately

That was ultra close. Now it's Pogacar

He is riding his bike, in the Tour. It's day 18 for him

Im watching 30km behind the live.  I just cant understand the tactic of emptying himself on the front of the break, when they have to defend the yellow

He might not be able to stay with Jonas on the Hautecam if Pog attacks.
He's up front, if needed; not the first time a rider has done this.

WvA is only 1'47" in front... he's there for the climb
