My MacBook indicated that my passwords on Bike Hub had been compromised. I suggest everybody should change their passwords.

This message comes up before I even open my Safari. I strongly suggest you take it seriously as this is an important notification that comes automatically from Apple.

Was it something like this? Warning you of a data leak?

This means that the password that you are using on Bike Hub as been compromised in a public data leak but it does not mean that the leak was Bike Hub.

In Safari, going to Preferences -> Passwords. Apparently there may be a yellow warning icon with more information. Websites like Have I Been Pwnd? can also give you a clue to which service the leak originates. Not that it helps much, your password is out there.

It is usually strongly advised that you change this password on all the services that you use it on.

Chrome will notify you every time you use a compromised password regardless the site you use it on, doesn’t mean it’s bikehub that leaked it
