I have an old, trashed Raleigh that could be made just fine enough to be used on the trainer. I want to take the tandem off the trainer and don’t want to buy a new bike. I also don’t want to put my MTB on the trainer because I don’t want to have to fiddle before I head out on a ride.

Notice the non-electronicness and sheer lack of cables. Limit screws are set so RD just hold chain on A (one) gear. Most important function the RD performs here is chain tensioning

Found my ride on the web portal and transferred to strava.

 

Next issue. my Garmin Hr monitor connects but gives no reading. it reads on my Edge 530 but no reading on the Woosh app. 

 

any ideas how to solve this?

Do you have an ANT+ adaptor for your device(laptop/tablet) unless your HR pod is Dual(Bluetooth/Ant+)

Garmin pod is dual. Tried an ant+ dongle in usb adaptor in phone but i see no ant+ connections.
