 Hi,

We check with Cliff Beckett, our head designer:

"No, no current frames are UDH ready. The Cypher looks like it will fit UDH, but it won't. The idea for the hanger on the Cypher is similar in that it coaxially mounts to the rear axle, for a more precise fit. In that respect, it's just like the UDH. But we designed the Cypher before SRAM released UDH to us in 2019."

thank you 🙏

Thanks for this info.

So what's the time frame for adapting the UDH details in your frames in future?

My RM frame is a 2013 model and I'm looking to upgrade for a while now.  My "wish list":

1.) Must be Relatively light weight.  Cypher is OK-ish.

2.) Must be modern geometry with a nice slack head angle - Check for the Cypher

3.) Must take 2 water bottles in the front triangle - Check for the Cypher

4.) Nice to have is a good looking color scheme, look like there is enough options on the Cypher.

5.) Must be UDH ready, just for in case I can convince myself to empty the bank to buy a SRAM direct mount DR in future .... 🤪😂

So 4/5 not bad .... :).

I Add

It must be Noise Free When I Ride It and go Over a Bump.

I must Like the way it Rides (Handling)

It Must Have a Good Resale Value when I'm Finished with It.

Being a Dual Suspension It must be Comfortable when I ride It.

It must be defect free when I buy It brand new from the Shop.
