So the Scott guys wanted to race, but at a more chilled level and opted to race the WP event?

I was very confused seeing Alan winning and Niño celebrating a win not knowing it was different events🤦🏼‍♂️

doesnt sound like nino... he has no chill.

Probably came down to logistics 🤷‍♂️

I was hugely impressed by young Luke Moir yesterday. He had a terrible race on Saturday. Either a mechanical or a crash that took him out after two laps. On Sunday he rode himself into 4 and eventually Phil Buys caught him for a sprint finish. the other Notable ride was Justin Chesterton who rode from a back row start to 17th. We have some good young men in the U23 category. I think they have 2 more seasons as U23 before the Elites door opens. If Alan has a corker of a season we may just get two slots for the Olympics. Hoping the youngsters can get some UCI world cup racing in. Team Computer Mania seems to be guaranteed of at least half the season so far.

Great to see they had a live feed

The bits of the track I saw looked very similar to the SA Champs +/- 2002….

Was just as dry then as well 😂

I'm guessing Justin is the son of Richard?

Luke, Mark's son 😝, is exceptional, as is Tristan Nortje (also still u23 BUT rides a Spez....). Skills, fitness and a drive to keep working at it.

I'm hoping they all keep going from strength to strength and get our XCO representation up a bit in the pro ranks.
