The lunches were horrible and several times spoiled,

I vividly remember riding those early Epics.

The good old days when lunch was roosterbrood that you bought with your own money after rambling around the Kaap for 130 k’s a day average.

We identified as mountainbikers back then.

I wonder what this new wave of hairdressers would have said in those old Epics.

You know the ones where people keep talking about the 70k’s of dirtroads, but they forget the other 70k’s of technical mayhem with rivers and portages that made up the 140 kilometer stage for the day.

Above all of these disappointments, have you come out Epic a real mountain biker now? This is the only key point here.

This. Exactly.

2005, 2006, 2007; never owned an Amabubesi item…just ride/live/enjoy…., the rest is just ‘puffery’ - see what I did there?! 😆 Puffer-ry 🤣

The hairdressers would never have made cutoff without their 29ers. Woolies food and Strava
