ChrisF Posted May 3, 2023 Share 5 hours ago, Ebjap1 said: Thanks will have a look Do yourself a favour, also look at the stolen bikes section. Statistically most bikes are stolen at home. Whichever insurer you go with, consider getting cover all the time. Also chat to your broker about which value to insure your bike for .... totally different to cars !! Also consider getting "wearable cover". Your helmet, sports watch, bibs, shoes, etc can very quickly add up to a serious sum of money. cadenceblur, Mtree and WR 1.0

Alouette3 Posted May 3, 2023 Share Chat with a broker, got mine added to my Discovery household and vehicle cover scheme as a standalone item for a specified value. Was quite affordable. Actually got them to tweak the scheme and get a couple discounts applied and walked out paying less even with the bike added. Aurora Posted May 3, 2023 Share I have mine with Everything.Insure (www.everything.insure). They have a line of cycling specific products within their Personal offering. I insure my vehicles, contents, bicycle and a few other things and also get great cycling related benefits. And yes, they pay claims! Stoffel76 Posted May 3, 2023 Share Either add to your existing home policy as an All Risks item or go with a specialist like Cyclesure. Chris makes a good point, so if you are going to go with a 'turn on/turn off' type cover then make sure your home contents policy will cover the bike whilst at home as part of the Contents (and also check where you store the bike, particularly if you keep it in an outbuilding, as some policies may limit cover)... But whatever option you go with, read the t&c's...
