True, I will attach it to my bike to use it together with my Edge 130 Plus and see how long the battery still lasts. I was told that he still got more than 8 hours out of it, which is more than enough for me.

the Geoid makes the  Garmin 130 look stupid… especially when you go and setup the screens , fields and other things

everything is done on the phone app and then transferred to the Geoid , unlike the ridiculous button pressing and menu fiddling on the 130

I believe this Geoid is identical to the Magene unit which costs 50% more (Geoid being part of Magene)

costs around R800 on Aliexpress , free shipping and then  duties… arrived with Courier Guy😃

Do you have a link to it on Aliexpress? I had a look but those I saw indicated that they're not shipping to South Africa.

I’ve tried both the Geoid CC600 and the Garmin Edge130+ and I have to say the Geoid beats it in every department - battery life, screen, features - even OneLapFit is a much better app than that piece of trash Garmin Connect. I paid R900 for mine on AliExpress. I suspect Garmin aren’t releasing an update to the 130 because of these Chinese units.

I used the Geoid for navigation on a 130km route and it worked really well...obviously does not have re-routing but it works well enough if you do not deviate from the route..

Garmin 130 is a joke compared to the Geoid

The Geoid is being sold for R2k from a prominent local bike shop....I suppose if you want it immediately you can pay the premium..

The new Geoid CC700 Pro was released over December 2025. So i pull the trigger to get one to replaced my Garmin 800 that decide to disintegrate all the rubber parts on it, really impress what I got for the price and like all the stuff you can do with it.

Three weeks and over 700k's and it's been faultless ito positioning connection and sensors connections and excellent battery life.  This version has a touch-screen so excellent all around.

I still need to post my unpack video. Was really impress with the extras they send with it, even a screen protector in the box.
