It pains me to write this, but after countless smooth BH transactions I have finally been caught in a scam.

A poster posing as Dianna Fourie accepted payment for a pair of shoes to be sent from Pretoria to Cape Town and after a week of excuses and promises is now ghosting me and blocking calls.

I know that this is the very reason for BH Pay and I did begin the process in that way, but after the offer expired and then the ad, I reached out directly. I was not weary of the seller, had no reason to be - I had just assumed that they were a new member and as such inexperienced with the platform etc. I have never had even a close call with transactions on Bike Hub so had no reason to doubt it.

Still not entirely sure whether the name is indeed correct, or what can actually be done about it, but in case anyone else knows the name - be careful.

Here is a whatsapp profile pic - not sure if it's even the suspect. If it isn't, and I have posted your pic, please DM me.

I also got scammed by her  for the same pair of shoes. Full of excuses for not been able to return the money or the send the shoes. She banks with Capitec Acc: 2330416888 (D Fourie). Apologies if it a stolen ID.

He's also advertising on his Instagram page that he's off to the world transplant games because he's a kidney donor

I wonder if thats just a ploy to get free donated money, you know...everyone loves a heart warming story
