MTB Tyre inserts. Do you run them? Which do you recommend?

I think the most important feature of an insert is that it does not absorb sealant. If it does, it will just get heavier over time and you will be likely to get stuck with a puncture that does not seal if you don't keep topping up. Stick with reputable brands like Cushcore (the only one I have experience with, it does not absorb any sealant).

I strongly suspect that that video paints a far too positive picture of teh noodle as an insert. As far as I know they disintegrate quite quickly so I wonder how rough and fast this guy actually rode with them.

I also suspect that as with most of the cheaper inserts this will absorb 10x its weight in sealant.

Might last a month, maybe 6 weeks

I’ve had the Csixx inserts for ages , don’t recall them absorbing that much sealant 

don’t think they make them any longer though

they didn't have enough volume to absorb much sealant but they also where pretty useless as rim toi tyre protection goes

Touch wood, but I have not had a single issue with them.
