Okay seeing that the last time someone tried to belittle me cause my 94.7 time was slow I have to beat my time by at least half an hour.

I started training last week again after a short time of being sick.

How can I build base. Start with SLD and some hill sprints ect ect. It feels that I might kill myself if I start doing 50 km+ rides at this stage. I did a 21 km after work today...

Any help on training would help as it seems that what I have been doing is worth nothing. smiley5.gif

The local cycling magazines usually carry a training programme round about this time of year. My second 94.7 I used one of them and it worked for me. They usually have different programmes depending on your fitness level and goals etc.

Okay who can cycle 50 km after work. I get off at 17H00. I was out last night till 18H00 (when it was darkish) I did 25 km. So I will have to be out till 19H00 (total darkness) How can it be done...

Thats exactly why they have IDT's - really great for the quality work outs that Scotty mentioned.

Instead of training km's train by time, 1 hr on the IDT = PLENTY KM'S Wink

I agree with Scotty' date=' nothing wrong with an hour a day during the week ....... just make it worthwhile!

Where there is a WILL there is a....., relative. Sunrise comes earlier very morning. Nothing wrong with a small light on your zikkel, or helmet. 5 O'clock every morning I'm out there. It is all about WILL power mate. Make it happen!Wink
