Don't want to sound too cynical but at some bike shops that is relative to what's in stock on the day ....... Confused

but he is in Holland, not SA where we have a bigger selection of shops then tyres.

Have this soft spot for Schwalbe at the moment... Thinking of nobbly nick front and racing ralphs back, but when I bought my wheels yesterday I saw a guy buying racing ralphs only, which completely confused me.  I think I will ask both the LBS and locals I can hunt down! You gonna need a tubeleww valve anyway ! so just fit it and put the tyre on ' date=' inflate and see what happens[/quote']

Cool!  Never thought of doing that.  Will give it a shot and see what happens (I got some nice tubeless valves fitted with the tyres.)  Just hope I can get the tyre seated.

A few month ago i converted my and a friend`s American Classics . I used strapping tape(sellotape with a mesh) cut the role in half making it just wide enough to seat snugly in the rim. I rolled it just once around over rim tape. stuck in a tubeless valve(cut 2 size so tyre could fit) & 2 cups stans each tire and pumped up with floor pump. sealed first time. I have maxxis tubeless tires and friend had specialised tubeless tire. Total cost R75 per wheel

Okay, this is a bit of an hi-jack. BB with your ghetto concept, have had a look at BMX tubes with the old Dunlop valves? They sell Raleigh tubes at P'nP fro R20 or so. The only problem there is you will not be able to check pressure.
