We'll see if you still find the humour in this after you slip that ring on your fiance's finger Hog...

Funny dude! My chick opted for 2 wedding bands, so she could have one testicle in each! Confused

Do you get such tiny rings?WinkBig%20smile

You know, we all probably have syphilis after going through that water! Not everyday we can all say HR gave us syphilis. All of us. In one day.

Hi guys

Thanks for the ride yesterday. I still can't decide if I actualy had fun and enjoyed it or if I didn't. I think if there were less mud I would have enojoyed it more. But the mud was so thick that firstly trying to keep my bike upright was a mission as it kept slipping and sliding out from under me, well on the sections that I could ride anyway.

then secondly the mud was so bad that I could not clip into my pedals from about 5 km's in, which also means I couldn't pull on the pedals and could only push. Now having done a hard climbing training session and a spinathon on Saturday, this absolutely destroyed my legs and by half way I started to bitch and moan because I was tired, and there was no relief in the mud as it got thicker which means more hard pedalling.

So I apologise to those at the back who had to listen to my sense of humour failure Embarrassed In terms of technicality It was definitley challenging for me at times, I attempted to do some of it, like doing the one sandy downhill and the train tracks, but the rest the guys gave me enough warning to get off in time, thanks!!!!

I am still contemplating if I'll do it again, maybe I will but defnitely not if it rained the night before again. The mud there is rediculous, it took us 4 and a half ours to ride (Walk) 35km's, madness. And my legs are still so tired that I can feel them throb as I sit here and typre this! OUCH!!!!!

Nice meeting some new faces on the hub!!! TNT sorry you had to cut it short.

Thanks again HR ..... I think! Confused

It was great to meet you, amateur.  Thanks for all your technical tips!

I agree that the mud made it really tough.  It might not have been the longest distance-wise but constantly having to spin your legs to stop yourself from getting bogged down really took it out of you eventually!
