Buying parts for Shimano, dont know never had to replace anything yet (other than jockey wheels, cables and brake pads) bit like buying parts for a digital watch Wacko higly improbable and unlikely.

Campag - a bit like buying parts for a old mechanical watch, some old, clever fitter n turner living in Campagnola can still make them..Wink

Must admit, the longest I had to wait for a Campy part is about 2 days and that for something I broke by trying to take a short cut - Was prepared to wait a while as it is not a common spare part to carry (bar clamp for Ergo's) but Tony Impey had it in 2 days.

Yawn!!!!! I went out a while, is this boooooring thread still going on..... going home now to fit my SUPERIOR MTB parts to my MTB Tandem. My Road Tandem had Kempekkernoglia thingies on them and is now happily equipped with SHIMANO components, that by the way, works ALL the time..

Ou Ven hoe gaan dit lanklaas van jou gehoor.... was jy toegesneeu!!!?????

Yes' date=' the Shimano has a smoothness and it took a few rides to get used to the more mechanical changes of Campag but I certainly don't miss the way my Ultegra set used to jump two gears when trying to do a single gear change.

Nothing that even a good back yard service cant sort out. I have ridden with most of the Shimano range and never had a problem.

I agree that Merckx is the greatest but Armstrong was great as well. He holds a record that we might not see broken in our lifetimes.
