Windbreaker Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Yeah but I was referring to riders who DON'T use drugs. So was I . mmm ... seem to have misplaced my spoon.
Hype Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Please don't tell me you actually believe Lance can win the Tour only 18 months after getting out of hospital on orange juice and energy bars. That he can destroy the likes of Heras, Landis, Hamilton, etc who have been caught using drugs (not to mention Ullrich, Basso, Mancebo, Millar, etc). Interesting how Discovery have never had a single rider test positive and yet within 2 years of leaving the team, Heras, Landis and Hamilton were all caught. One of the following statements is true; a)Lance Armstrong is the greatest athlete that has ever walked the face of planet earth. b) Lance Armstrong is the best cheat and liar in the history of any sport. We can all believe what we want. I believe in the latter ... maybe I'm just cynical. But I think not. I think that those who believe in the former statement are dreamers.
Windbreaker Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Please don't tell me you actually believe Lance can win the Tour only 18 months after getting out of hospital on orange juice and energy bars. ...... maybe I'm just cynical. Yes .... and yes.
E1A104 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Was it orange juice or cranberry juice? I know Eddy Merckx used apple juice ............. It all depends on who you support I guess - The la disciples will tell you that he cycled clean and then oftensay it was impossible for Merckx to win that much that often without being doped to the gills. Merckx fans on the other hand will say the same about la.

Velouria Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 More Campy bashing please - I love hearing Shimano riders justify why Campag sucks. And often without even having tried Campag.
javadude Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Orange Juice! I heard it was Noni Juice You should really get your facts straight before you spread such vicious rumours.
