Finally got my hands on the Whasp Protein Gel and man what a difference.Took it today and had a stormer of a race..felt great at the end which was a first.Taste was close enough to custard as I was told the PeptoPro has a real mule-kick on its own in terms of bite.

Thanks for the effort pornstar (you persuaded me to try move from GU and I aint going back now). I recommend anyone to try it.Its about time we get a unique product out there.

Rock on!

I also used the WHASPProtein Gel in saterdays MTB 40km race and aswell as the road race.

Worked well, i have nice constant flow of energy, only took one in each race, my legs were shot in the road race, but the gel kicked in shortly after, pushed me to the end.

Great job guys, but like my mother always said the medicine that taste the worst , works the best!!!

I also tried the Crazy Kiwi for the first time...it tasted disgusting, but I must agree it definitely helped me yesterday.

yes the kiwi certainly isn't sweet, which is what I prefer. sip of water and the bitterness vanishes and you get on with your racing business, not sucking the cloying sweetness from your teeth that other gels provide.

Going to be using the new protein gels soon, looking forward to testing them out, got them too late to use in sundays race. My 'green mambas' (Crazy Kiwis) worked great though.

Used the Kiwi for the first time Sunday (94.7) it didn't taste to good but i tasted worst things in my life, but i must say it works, I could feel energy where there were no energy before.

Thanks

Used the vanilla after the first 40 min, and at the halfway mark I downed the green whasp. Felt good after the race, and must say I did not have a problem with the taste and sweat mixed Big%20smile and my 2.52 was good enough for me. My group just did not wait for me, otherwise I could have done betterLOL

Thanks guys...all good by the sounds of it...

I think we nailed the pepto pro gel on the head with ingrediants and taste...

The green one doesnt taste god, but the taste in your mouth clears quickly and it kicks like a mule...so thats all that counts

I used the Crazy Berry and the Crazy Kiwi on Sunday. To be honest I am not sure where the flavours come from as each one tasted just as **** as the other.

HOWEVER they work and they work bloody well. So I have decided that the trade off of results against a **** taste is one that I am willing to take. So in the furture Whasp has just earned itself another customer.

bought myself some " green mumba" for the hell and back ride, but when i opened the bag to get them out the first morning one had picked up a leak and everything was sticky.

Whasp need to have a look at this potential problem.

otherwise the taste was bad as stated before but not lasting and the kick was good, so i will use it again.

Thanks...great and welcome to the family

There was one batch that we had a few leaking sachets with...we make hundreds of thousands of gels and you bound to have a few slip through, if this happens, send me info on batch and we will replace for you no charge..

And you right, performance does matter...taste is second, at least we got it to clear the mouth quickly and the taste doesnt hang around

I use the woman's specif gels, and nothing else Clap

I think they are brilliant, and the taste is fine, but I like sweet things Wink

it certainly gets me over the hills!!

Still got to try the energy drinks...
