Tekramz Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I simply want to know why the so called "elite" riders in Cape Town race against Sub Vets and Vets and then when they get beaten in a sprint for 2nd place, after 1st place has already been taken by a Sub Vet - appeals are lodged?!<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />Don?t you youngsters think that you should rather use that time to train or maybe consider another profession, as you seem to think you have the ability to be a Pro one day!

Vet...Sub-Vet.....Elite. Real cyclists do it in breaks. No one is in form this time of year anyway. Resting time....... To win The Burger race is like shagging your sister.....You get the feeling of scoring but it's not really the real thing.........

You can't lodge an complaint just because he beat you in the sprint.. and if the referee agree to the appeal, Jippy for the rider who lodged the appeal. easy..
Red Zone Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I thought that it was simple if you qualify in terms of seeding you could ride down a catagory but not up, so a vet or subvet can race in the elite group if they want. If the elite riders cant hang with the old manne, sorry for you, train harder.

As said, no one that matter is on form this time of year, all the PRO RIDERS are having a break from all the REAL racing throughout the year.... Lets see how many of the top 10 of yesterday will be up there in 3 months time.....and please dont even try tell me that they won a PPA fun ride because then I will laugh at you, that is baby racing....if they racing in JHB and winning then I'll say they are good!!!
